PRESS RELEASE
SINGAPORE – January 2026 – Wayrobo, a provider of intelligent outdoor automation solutions, announced it will return to the GCSAA Conference and Trade Show for the second consecutive year. The company will exhibit at Booth #3841, highlighting technology upgrades to its autonomous ball-picking robot and previewing its upcoming Autonomous Bunker Rake.
Wayrobo’s autonomous ball-picking robot is designed to perform daily ball collection and dumping operations with minimal human intervention, supporting consistent performance across varied site conditions. The company noted that the system is built to address real-world operational demands at golf courses and driving ranges.
The latest upgrades include AI-powered path planning and collection heatmaps that generate real-time routes based on ball distribution. The system also features real-time dynamic obstacle avoidance, allowing the robot to adjust routes continuously in active range environments. Additional capabilities include an all-terrain mobility system for operation on uneven surfaces and multi-sensor fusion autonomy using RTK positioning, dual cameras, LiDAR for 3D mapping, and inertial navigation for precise localization and motion control. A customizable turf protection mode is listed as a coming feature.
Wayrobo will also preview its Autonomous Bunker Rake, which extends the company’s autonomous navigation platform into bunker maintenance. The solution is designed to automate bunker raking with consistent patterns and uniform finish quality. Demonstration appointments for the bunker rake are expected to open later in 2026.
