Teaching at the GCSAA Conference and Trade Show in New Orleans in 2027 is an opportunity to step into a different kind of industry service. The Golf Course Superintendents Association of America invites superintendents, assistants, equipment managers, educators, and other turf professionals to submit proposals by March 31, 2026 for sessions that deliver practical, field-tested knowledge that others can use. Presentations can take the form of traditional seminars, power hours, panels, or interactive facility tours.

Presenters who share their experience and solutions that made a difference at their facilities help shape the learning experience of everyone who attends. This isn’t about theory. It’s about real work, hard questions, and actionable ideas that someone can take home and put to use. Topics of interest align with current needs in the field and include cultural practices, water management, labor and retention, pest management, budget and purchasing, autonomous technology, and shop-focused equipment management subjects.

There are benefits for speakers, too. Presenters receive complimentary registration and support for expenses, with honorariums based on session length. Sharing what you’ve learned acknowledges the depth and breadth of expertise in our community and gives others a chance to grow faster and with fewer missteps. A strong presenter lineup makes the Conference and Trade Show more valuable for everyone who shows up in New Orleans.
